BusyBox built for Android ARM. Does not need root because it installs into the apps "internal storage". Just launch the app once, tap "Unpack", and then it will provide you an export PATH command to add to your .profile. Works great, just set the $PATH and copy to /storage whatever you work with.
Tried several solutions for non-root BusyBox, this was by far the best. Simple install and no configuration apart from adding its path to your terminal program (or just paste the copied line straight into any terminal instance) - and even this is made easy by allowing you to copy the required path statement to the clipboard. Apart from use in the terminal, I use it with a file manager that manages and runs scripts. All that was needed was to add the path statement for SimpleBusyBox as the first line in each script to give access to all the extra commands (obviously you can't act as root but still plenty of useful commands to use). Extremely well implemented and a great service to the Android community.
This is very useful when you are running SimpleSSHD.
